The Mother
Sterling silver layered form with solid gold ball details, suspended on an 18-inch oxidized sterling silver chain.
Every woman carries the energy of the Mother inside her, regardless of parenthood. This is not motherhood as role but as cosmic principle — the generative force that has been honored across cultures and millennia, the capacity to hold, to nourish, and to bring forth.
The form of this piece is the vesica piscis: the ancient shape formed where two circles intersect, each passing through the other's center. One of the oldest symbols in the human record, it appears in Neolithic carvings and sacred architecture across the ancient world. Its shape mirrors the womb and the vulva — the gateway through which all life enters the world. In sacred geometry it is known as the Seed of Life. Here, layered in silver, it becomes a vessel: protective, enclosing, intentional.
At the base, a small gold sphere rests like a seed within. Above, a second gold accent marks connection and continuity. The design suggests containment without confinement — life held safely while it gathers strength.
The Mother archetype is generative force. It is devotion, discernment, and the fierce willingness to protect what is growing. It understands that creation requires structure as much as love — that the womb is not passive but active, not empty but full of what is preparing.
Worn at the heart, this piece becomes a reminder of what you are cultivating, and of your capacity to carry it with steadiness and care.
Handcrafted and made to order in my Montana studio, each pendant is individually formed, layered, and assembled by hand. Subtle variations in line and surface reflect the living nature of the handmade process — no two are exactly alike.
An original form. Vessel and seed in alignment.
